Our children are fortunate to attend a beloved neighborhood school.  Part of what makes Winnequah so special is the collaboration between parents and teachers, administrators and staff.  The PTO fosters these relationships in many ways:

• We present social events to deepen ties to the school and the community.
• We show our appreciation to our educators by supporting them during after-hour programming (such as parent-teacher conferences) and with special events (including back-to-school breakfasts and teacher appreciate week activities).
• We fund valuable and enriching programs, materials, curricula and equipment.  Teachers rely on annual PTO contributions such as National Geographic Magazine and Time for Kids.  Children enjoy trips to Overture Center, sports equipment and playground climbing structures, all of which are examples of PTO support.
• We assist families when necessary so that all students can participate in field trips and other school activities regardless of ability to pay.

The families and staff of Winnequah School participate in several fundraisers throughout the year.  But we hope that through this online campaign we can encourage friends, family, neighbors and the entire online community to get involved and help raise money for our school.
